Pieces scattered aimlessly, of every color and shape
they were all shining on the table they were placed.
As the sun shone down each one could light up one another.
Sparkling, in a myriad of colors.
Even if every one, was broken or cracked at all,
I know each piece would still keep shining on!
Huddling together, all of us
though sometimes we are distant
We try to put these pieces together, though unevenly
Sorrow carried from t hat distant day,
crying so hard you start to shake
every single thing will bring color to that smile I love!
The sky soaked in hues of orange,
Illuminated by the setting sun,
Silhouettes can be seen wavering, though unevenly
Though I wanted to tell you something,
I wasn't even able to speak,
The time merely passed us by, as daylight said goodbye.
